One Question

This will be a very short post. I have almost 500 readers, or so the little counter says. I would love to know a little about you. Here is my one question to you:

What is the one thing you have accomplished in your life that you are the most proud of? Feel free to give a brief explanation why if you feel like, but you don’t have to. 🙂

I just thought it would be nice to get to know a little about some of you.

Thank you! 🙂

    • Awesome! Advocacy is pretty fun. It is such a great feeling when a Congresswoman/man sees you coming and says ” Okay, what is it that I need to co-sponsor now?” I just loved it the first time that happened to me!

      • I’ve never spoken to a congressman, but I’ve talked to our mayor about mental health on many occasions, so much that he greets me by first name when we run into each other in public (it happens about twice a year, only about 60,000 people in Kokomo, IN) I’ve talked to state representatives (more to their staff) at NAMI Meet N Greet, but that’s been maybe 5 years ago. It sounds exciting to talk to someone in congress.

      • Hey, Congress is no different than you and I. I think it’s great that your mayor knows who you are. That really says something. 🙂 Congrats!

  1. I have major depressive disorder and have struggled with suicidal thoughts and self harm off and on since my sophomore year of college, four years ago. I had to medically withdraw from school on two different occasions. I am most proud of finishing college and earning my Bachelor’s degree.
